Lajes Child Development Center offers quality, affordable and conveniently located care. We provide closely supervised play and developmental activities for children between 6 weeks and five years old.
Care is available weekdays on a full-time basis from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Spaces are limited. Please call in advance for availability. DD 2606 Request for Care form (Click here to download) is available on line and may be sent to the base before arrival.
Once you arrive on base contact the CDC/Youth Center to update your current contact information.

The Center is open to all assigned military and civilian personnel dependent youth between kindergarten and 6th grades. The Lajes Teen Center is open to grades 7-12.

The Center offer a variety of programs and activities designed to energize our youth. It's our goal to develop the social and physical skills of the Lajes Field youth, leading to the enhancement of their overall well being. 

Family care certification
(Click here to download) required for all dual/single military needing care for both CDC and Youth Center.

REGULATION FOR CHILDREN RIDING IN CARS
(Click here to download) Mandatory at Lajes Field for children under 12 years of age and less then 150cm in height.
